Excess of intake of protein can also be harmful. Protein intake should be in the required amount, neither in excess nor in less. Protein-rich foods are dairy products, beans, nuts, and seeds.

Some insoluble fiber doesn’t dissolve in water; these help prevent constipation like carrots and cereal. Others are soluble fiber, which dissolves in water and helps in the reduction of cholesterol. Good sources of soluble fiber are apples, berries.
- Calcium: Calcium is the key to lifelong bone health. Intake of calcium will keep your teeth healthy. If there is an insufficient amount of calcium in your body, it will be taken from your bones, making your bones weak. Calcium deficiency may lead to depression, anxiety, and difficulty in sleeping. Calcium-rich foods are dairy products such as milk, curd.
- Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates are one of your body’s primary sources of energy. They come in abundant form. Mostly carbohydrates are in complex and unrefined ways. Carbohydrates rich foods are white flour, white rice, pasta, etc. Complex carbohydrates are digested slowly as compared to simple carbohydrates.
